Enhancement is the unnatural treatment of a gemstone in order to alter it's colour or clarity. Treatments include fracture-filling, high pressure-high temperature (HPHT), laser drilling, coating, and irradiation. Brereton Jewellers endeavor to only work with diamonds of natural colour and clarity.
