It commemorates 60 years of Seiko watchmaking heritage in Diver's watches.Continuing the Seiko heritage of watchmaking innovation and design evolution, this Prospex divers watch is evolved from a combination of two popular Seiko designs.Nicknamed by fans for their unique case shapes, the Samurai and Shogun are popular Seiko models which are angular in shape and instantly recognisable. This latest Compact divers watch takes elements from both heritage designs, as well as adding modernised features.Aesthetically, the green dial depicts the surface of the ocean seen by a diver underwater, with the sunlight pouring through. It takes the steep angled lugs of the Shogun and echoes the crown design of the Samurai model with the straight contours of both blueprints.In terms of size, this piece has a compact 41.7mm diameter case and slim design for comfortable wearability. Its new features include a date window at 4.5 oclock, pointed hands, and a bracelet with press-formed integral links for an elegant feel that matches the linearity of the case.This watch is compliant with the recognised ISO standards for professional diving watches.
